A thorough study of the doctrine of Biblical preservation and shows that the King James Version is the preserved Word in English.

A study of varying books of the Bible at the discretion of the curriculum Dean trimester by trimester.  

Methods of Bible Study

A study of varying methods to study one's Bible using language lexicons, Bible dictionaries, studying historical, exegetically, etc.

Studies famous and infamous women of the Bible, their lives and characteristics and accomplishments.

A general business course about book/record keeping, basic legal issues, for personal and small business administration.

Christian Finances

A  general financial smarts course in personal financial management.

Christian Issues at Law

Issues of recent and potential litigation as it relates to the Christian and the Christian realm.

CHURCH MINISTRY 

Sunday School Ministry

Learning the Sunday School as a ministry for children; looking at the staff, the curriculum, the facilities, the schedule, etc. 

COMPUTER & OFFICE MACHINES  

Basic Computer Skills

Hands-on training with IBM compatible and Macintosh computers and Learning to perform basic functions. 

Computer Technology for Church Use

Computer use in a church ministry setting in word processing, desktop design and publishing.

Office Machines & Operation Skills

Hands-on training involving detailed machines operation, care and maintenance, focusing on developing skills to properly operate and maintain office machines.  Prerequisite to workshop.

Computer Graphics Design & Layout

This course focuses on the designing aspect of desktop publishing, working with graphics and photos, and designing forms, pamphlets, etc. Prerequisite to workshop.

Small Scale in-House Printing

Hands-on training by professional technicians with printing equipment. The student receives training on IBM compatible and Macintosh computers, duplicators, printers and basic binding techniques and equipment.

COUNSELING

Fundamentals of Counseling I

Compares the secular (humanistic) and traditional Christian approaches to counseling with the Biblical approach to counseling methodology.                           

Fundamentals of Counseling II

Studies human personalities as God created them. Biblical persons are examined and the methodology used by Jesus Christ in directing people into God's will.

General Bible Doctrines

The major Bible doctrines are studied, including Godhead, Christology, Pneumatology, Bibliology, Ecclesiology, Eschatology, Angelology/Demonology, and Anthropology.

Systematic Theology Overview I

An overview study of five of the nine divisions of theology.

Systematic Theology Overview II

An overview study of the remaining four of the nine divisions of theology.

Cult Introduction

The beliefs and practices of the most common cults are studied. Research paper required.

Bibliocentric Self Defense

A study of self defense with a Bibliocentric focus. Explores such issues as: is it right to learn self defense; the occult in oriental martial arts; when is it right to fight, and much more.

EDUCATION

Philosophy of Bibliocentric Education I

The first part of a two-part comprehensive study of the academic truths (disciplines) as created of God and seen from God's perspective. Education is presented as a study of truth and 'Thy Word is truth'. Academic disciplines include reading, writing, mathematics, history, government, science, etc., and are shown to have a Bibliocentric origin.

Philosophy of Bibliocentric Education II

The second part of a two-part comprehensive study of the academic truths (disciplines) as created of God and seen from God's perspective.  Students are challenged to develop personal educational thought and to internalize his thoughts on the subjects of reading, mathematics, history, science, etc.

Church School Ministry

Deals with the development, operation, curriculum and administration of a Church school as a ministry ordained of  God so church families may maintain their faith in a high academic setting.   

Principles of School Teaching I

The church school, its philosophy, the teacher, manner of teaching, and the home.

Student Teaching: a complete trimester course = 15 credits

Teachers put into practice teaching skills in the actual classroom under the supervision of a master teacher.

Church Bible Education Programs

The study and theory of such programs as: Sunday School curriculum and programs, Vacation Bible School methods, Youth Camps curriculum, facilities, program, Children's Church Services, etc.

Credit varies for this course as it is an applied studies course with the tutor recommending grades, etc. The course covers a variety of ministering within a church environment.

United States History

The history of the USA and its Constitutional foundation from the writings of those who lived during that time, and major events through the years, with emphasis on the influence of Christianity and renowned Christians.

U. S. Government

A course in civics and the Republican form of government and how it works.

Old Testament Overview I

Study of the history of the Old Testament from a chronological historical perspective to the divided kingdom.

Old Testament Overview II

Study of the history of the Old Testament from a chronological historical perspective from the divided kingdom to the beginning of the New Testament.

Scientific Creationism

Study of the Creation from both secularist and creationist view points.

Introduction to the Life of Christ

Study of the Gospel accounts, emphasizing Christ's travels, dealings with people, training of the Apostles, the crucifixion and resurrection.

Introduction to the Life of Apostle Paul

The issues during the transferring of church planting from the original twelve Apostles to Paul, the Apostle and his travels and experiences with emphasis on evangelism and problems of establishing churches with Gentile memberships and culture.

Baptist History - beginnings

Tracing the origin, validity, and the ministry of the New Testament Baptists from the time of John the Baptist, and through Europe, up until the entrance of the Baptists into America.

Famous Christians

Based on reading biographies or autobiographies of well-known and not so well-known Christians. Prescribed reading required for credit.

A thorough study of the Bibliocentric principles of missions.

Bible centered evangelism with emphasis on evangelistic theology, philosophy and methodology.

A course focusing on actual evangelizing techniques and practices.

Song Leading

To develop basics of leading a congregational song service, timing, choices of songs for specific services, etc.

Designed to teach the fundamentals of song leading and special techniques of congregational singing and directing are taught.

Credit varies for this credit as given for vocal tutoring as an applied studies course with the tutor recommending grades, etc.

Bibliocentric Marriage

Marriage is studied from a Bibliocentric focus, as an institution of God designed for a man and a woman; patterns, dangers, applications, warnings, and glories of marriage are presented.

Bibliocentric Health

Teaches the basic philosophies from a Bibliocentric basis. Several books are a reading requirement. 

PASTORAL

Baptist Church Constitution and Bylaws

The development of Baptist church constitution and bylaws, its whys and wherefores, etc.

Administering the Church Liturgy

Teaching the pastoral student how to perform marriages, funerals, baptisms, the Lord's  Supper, etc.
